Searching for a star from an online source seems to be no problem. But
I got the usno A catalog (6 GB)two. I get following description for
example:
My home 2007-8-16 19h23m Mittelpunkt 0h01m43.0s +60°20'52" Breite:
+00°00'09" Helligkeit: 15 Cat: HIP HIC BSC HIP QSO BSC LSS A APM ASAS
CABR CCV CGCS ZKH RFGC NS WDS GVC BSC SKY UNA GSC TY2 SAC NGC RC3 PGC
LBN GCM OCL GPN E_USNOA SNRs Caldwell 4C Abell B BHe Cpirss DCld
Gliese H400 H2500 HH LDN LDN LX200 LX200aln
0h01m43.14s +60°20'53.0" * 1500-00035434 mr:17.20 mb:18.50 b-v:
0.65 field: 79 q:0 s: 1
Das Feld enthällt 1 Objekte.
>From a star from a extern catalog some like this:
My home 2007-8-16 19h23m Mittelpunkt 0h01m51.3s +60°21'35"
Breite: +00°00'09" Helligkeit: 15 Cat: HIP HIC BSC HIP QSO BSC LSS A
APM ASAS CABR CCV CGCS ZKH RFGC NS WDS GVC BSC SKY UNA GSC TY2 SAC NGC
RC3 PGC LBN GCM OCL GPN E_USNOA SNRs Caldwell 4C Abell B BHe Cpirss
DCld Gliese H400 H2500 HH LDN LDN LX200 LX200aln
0h01m51.31s +60°21'35.2" C1 E_USNOA U1500_00038084 m:16.50
d1:18.7 d2:00079 d3:0
Das Feld enthällt 1 Objekte.
Easy to search for the last one. But how to find one in the usno
catalog. Perhaps thomething is missing in the file?
Regards.
