It is a good question since I was not clear. In the string of 
numbers for each comet the next to last is it absolute magnitude.  
The last one is the slope, I think. Anyway change it to -4.5 or 
something close to that. The entry for 17P would look like:
0017P         2007 05  4.5276  2.053218  0.432564   24.2712  
326.8646   19.1126  20071027  -4.5  6.0  17P/Holmes 
After adjusting the Magnitude.
