Hi out there I have a question regarding telescope control (for my Meade LX200). I was originally very happy using the LX200 Meade & Autostar controller to slew and centre by CCD targets, but was having problems 'sharing' the COM port with my Autoguiding software (PHD Guiding).
I was told to try the ASCOM POTH module, which I did and can indeed now get PHD Guiding AND CdC to share the COM port successfully. However, the POTH telescope controller - ASCOM Telescope Interface 1.3 is very limited, only displaying RA/Dec, allowing connect/disconnect/park. Am I doing something wrong, or is the ASCOM telescope interface really this limited? Is there a more functionality rich I can use with my setup? Thanks for your help Mark
