Hi All, I'm new to the group so Hello :-)
Anyway I've just downloaded CDC & would now like to add the USNO-A2 Catalog.. How exactly do I do this.? When I click on the download link on the Stargazing webpage it takes me to an ftp site with lots of files listed.... Do I need to download all of these. Do I just need to right click & save into appropriate place on my desktop or is there some kind of data preparation needed. My main reason for using the catalog is that I have recently taken a CCD image of m81 & want to try & identifying the limiting mag for the image. Below is a link to an inverted image of my m81 - I have identified the stars in blue that I want to try & identify.
