Hi Sander, I wanted to thank you and the others who helped me with the 
installation of the compact HST Guide Star Catalog.  I was able to ftp all the 
files needed and now CDC shows me stars down to 15 mag or better.  I will not 
be loading the USNO catalog; way more info than this old boy needs.  :)  I 
agree that we are very fortunate that these catalogs are free to download and 
use.  Thanks again and happy viewing the real or virtual skies!
