there is no need to open or recognize that plugin. In fact I'm pretty
sure CdC comes with the ASCOM plugin already provided. If not then
simply copy the .tid file to the plugins directory.
Now you need to install an ASCOM driver for your Atlas. The manual for
your scope should tell you which one to get, a Celestron something or
other if I remember correctly. Then select ASCOM as the connection
mechanism in CdC and pick your scope from the ASCOM selection dialog
that comes up when you try to connect.
