Hi Peter,

make sure you have the correct catalogs enabled for the field of view 
you're operating under. Go to the catalog settings and check under the 
CdC stars tab. Also check the object filter tab in the Chart, 
Coordinates settings. I think you can set the limiting magnitude 
interactively by clicking on the tiny 'more stars' icon next to the 
search box in the menu bar.
