I just joined this group and I am in the same situation as Francois.

I have put the UCAC3 files into the proper place, but cannot seem to find the 
menu option for Settings. I have downloaded v2.76.

The directions state as does Michael below to do the following:

"Then from Skychart open the menu Setup -> Catalog, click the Add button and 
select the file 3uc.hdr"

I am either having a "senior moment" or this is not obvious.
