That's doing it the hard way.
You can always get elements for individual asteroids (or an arbitrary group of
up to 100 at a time) from the MPC's "ephemeris service" page at
<http://www.minorplanetcenter.org/iau/MPEph/MPEph.html>
Enter the list of asteroids, skip the "ephemeris options" (since you want
elements, not an ephemeris), and then near the bottom under "Format for
elements output", select the format ("TheSky" for v2.76. V3 uses (I think)
"MPC 1-line"). Then click "get ephemerides".
