I recently had a serious laptop failure and had to reformat my hard drive. A consequence is that I had to reload all the software, including CDC.
CDC loaded fine and I put in the (new to me) Ascom Platform 2008 (V5_0) plus its update and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. I set up the Com port to Com3. In my last setup, I selected "LX200 and Autostar" as my scope type, which I did again in the new setup. But when I tried to connect I got a "...unrecognized Meade scope type..." error message. So I changed the scope to "Meade Telescope and focuser." I still got the unrecognized scope message when I tried to connect. It seems I went through this same problem when I originally set up CDC way back when. But I can't remember what the solution was. Would someone be kind enough to help me out? Travis
