Mick, I've just tried to find and Display Barnard's Star. On my laptop I only have the Tycho catalogue not the UCAC..... I get the same result as you but zooming in to a FOV less than 30 min arc brings the star up on the screen. I think the answer is in the Catalogue settings....should be field # 0- 5 or similar. Settings/Catalogue/CDC stars/Tycho2 min 0/ max 5
