I have been working with the company that hosts my web site, where I keep the Skype scripts, because a number of you have experienced problems downloading files. As of about five minutes ago, the problem should be fixed according to the ISP. More accurately, the ISP has set up an alternate URL for me to use while they work out the specific problem with the normal one; and I have made www.dlee.org automatically take you to the new temporary location.
If anyone still gets repeated broken downloads, error messages, corrupt installers, etc., please write back and say so, so I can tell the ISP. Since this is a rather random and difficult to pinpoint issue, I can't reliably establish the stability of this solution by myself.
