>From the skype Main window, please go to tools, and then to options. Arrow down the tree view until you find chat settings. In this dialogue, you need to make sure the following radio button is checked. In a chat, pressing 'Enter' will Send chat message. Tapped to the save button and press the space bar. This should correct your problem!
