Hi Sabrina and list!
There is a fairly lengthy procedure for installing SkypeWatch that must be
followed before the feature will work. It is necessary to perform all the
applicable steps in the Skypewatch installation procedure as well as the things
on the Skype side. This is more involved than running the automatic installer.

For some reason, I did what Michelle said, and when people either sign in or
out, I'm not alerted as to who they are. Nor, when someone calls me, jaws
just says incoming call, not the contact who's calling.
Am I missing something here?

You do not need to be in the Skype window to see or at least hear Skypewatch
messages. You only need to have Skype open and Jaws running, beyond having
things properly set in the options as Michele described.

I did what you said, now all I've got to do is see if it works when
someone
signs in. Does the skype window have to be up? And, do I have to be in
the
skype window in order to see a person sign in?

try what follows:
1. go to tools / Options;
2. press down harrow till you hear "Notification settings";
3. press tab and reach the checkbox "Show a try notification when someone
comes online", and if it's unchecked, check it with a spacebar;
4. press tab till save button, then press spacebar.
Et voil?! The games are made!
