Actually, that trick worked before but is no longer safe, because there are enough differences among JAWS versions to require that the scripts are compiled on each machine. The installer does that automatically. If you use the zip file, even if you see jsb files come into the JAWS user folder when unpacking the zip, go to Skype and type Ctrl+Shift+C once to recompile everything.
I'm actually taking the jsb files out of the zip file for future releases. I thought I had done that already, but apparently I missed that.
