Hi, Doug! I know that's not Jaws or scripts problem. I provoked a few crashes without running the Jaws, just to test the compatibility. I'll report the problem, so we'll see what happens.

Which version are you using now? If not the most recently released 3.8, I would try that. If it is the most recent 3.8, you could try a 3.6 version. Unfortunately, since I test so many Skype versions, I don't remember which versions had these problems and which did not. I think you may be right that it has some relationship to hardware, since it sounds like not everyone runs into this sort of thing. I use an external Creative 24-bit soundcard much of the time.
