Hi, Jennifer, Brian Zolo here, just call me BZ, grin, I've had this same thing happen, in my case I'm using a logitech usb headset, and every once in a while, this happens and I have to go into accessories, then to volume control, then go to properties, then check the recording checkbox, then actually select my microphone, then mute it and then unmute the microphone and my audio comes back, not sure what you're using, but I also have had this same thing happen and wanted to offer my input regarding this problem, would be glad to assist you, what's your skype id?
