Yes I did manage to communicate with Skype developers and management
while I was out there. I gave them a lot of specific ideas on how to
make Skype for Windows and Mac more accessible. I also gave them
ideas on how to plan accessibility into a product and how to test for
it during the development cycle. It will of course be up to Skype to
decide just when and how to do any of the many things I suggested. I
did provide a prioritized list as part of the deliverables, but of
course those are our priorities as blind users and must be merged into
their current plans. I think, though, that we have their attention
and interest and that they will continue to improve accessibility in
coming releases.

Hi,
yes I downloaded the last hotfix which is Skype version 3.8.0.188. The last
scripts version compatible with Skype 3.8 is 653. There are also beta
scripts setted for Skype 4 beta (http://www.dlee.org/skype/skype4.php), but
there still are many bugs.
BTW, Doug did you manage communicating with the people at Skype?
Bye!
