I would first of all try using the native software of the Cam and take either a regular shot or video clip to make it works before I choose it in Skype. If you are able to see it under video settings in Skype, then during the call, you must click on a button that says, "show my cam" or something like that. It doesn't come on automatically by default when in a call, at least, my Logitec comes on only when I click "show my cam" or "start my webcam."
