I thought that it might be helpful to write down my settings as a start to
solving the problem. I'm in Skype, then tools, then options, and am finally
in the audio settings menu. Tabbing across I hear the following:
Microphone (I have it set to the Linksys phone), Recording Level left
right slider 0 percent (nothing I can do will change this level, although
I'm guessing this isn't the problem. My voice usually came through fine,
and all sliders are set to 0 and can't seem to be changed), Let Skype Adjust
My Audio Settings checked, Speakers (again, I have this set to the phone),
Playback Level left right slider 0 percent, Make a Free Test Call link
(worked fine with my old settings, not with the phone), Ringing (again, I
have it set to the Linksys CIT300), Ring PC Speakers checked, a link to
learn more, and a link to buy a Skype phone or Headset, and the save button.
I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.
