Sorry your information is not correct. Skread does not monitor the contact
list control. Skread gets it's information directly from the skype api.
Jaws cannot get information from the skype api because of problems with
other jaws scripts. Window-eyes gets it's information in this way and
suffers no adverse effects. So right now window-eyes tells you more about
who is on line etc. while jaws has better access to the UI.
Here is hoping that gw micro will update that script soon. I still say it
is too bad that Doug lee does not work on that one to.
As soon as I get my hed around some of the new concepts in window-eyes
scripting I just might have to update the skype script for window-eyes if no
one else is going to.

 Hi!
That is so because Skread and SK Watch use two different approaches for
announcing stuff like this. Skread controls and monitors Contact list and it

speaks when it notice changes on it. SK Watch did that in rev 554 (I think)
and that caused the system slowdowns for people with large contact lists.
SK Watch from rev 618 and further announces the text shown in notification
boxes in system tray and here lies the Skype 4 problem because the text in
those notifications are fully unaccessible. As soon the Skype developers
deal with that Doug's scripts for SK 4 will work just fine.
