I've been looking for a good, yet free skype call recording software for a long time. There is a problem though. I get the following error every time I run the program: Microsoft .NET Framework Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {830690FC-BF2F-47A6-AC2D-330BCB402664} failed due to the following error: 80040154. Details Continue Quit I pressed continue and configured the settings (folder to store skype conversations, recording mode, and bitrate) according to my preferences, but it doesn't want to save my changes. I also tried to record a skype conversation with no success. Nothing was recorded. I checked in tools / options / advance, but skype call recorder is not in the list of one of the applications to be allowed access to skype. I've tried to reboot, but it didn't help either. I've downloaded the latest version of skype call recorder, 0.7.2.1 from the website. I'm using skype 4.0.0.216 with the latest Jaws scripts, Jaws 10.0.1142, Windows XP Pro SP3, and Microsoft .net 2.0. Do you think I'm having software incompatibility issues? does skype call recorder work with skype 4? Sorry for asking many questions. I tried to find answers from the skype call recorder help page with no luck. I also looked for an FAQ section, but I wasn't able to find any. Any help with this will be very much appreciated.
