Hello,
"Skype Call Recorder" works with Skype 4.0. I can confirm that because
I'm also using Skype 4.0. I had the same problem as you do. Try
re-installing Skype and make sure you had the plug-in manager checked in
the options during installation. Don't worry, you can disable its
automatic startup in Skype's options -> Advanced. It doesn't have to be
running, it just has to be installed. I have read in the "report bugs"
section of the "Skype Call Recorder" website that the Skype plug-in
manager must be installed in order for the recorder to work properly.
