Hi Gary,
you have to go to the contact list, press the applications key, and go with 
down harrow to "Invite to conference". This procedure is valid especially 
with Skype 3.8, not sure with 4. Anyway, if you're not so expert in JAWS 
cursor and so on, I recommend you to use 3.8, otherwise you'll get in a 
terrible mess! Smile.
