No, not for text chats.
You can either left-click in a chat window where it says to "add more people to 
this chat".
Or tap the alt+A command (think that this is a Jaws script key).
Or a third way is to type "/add whoever", without quotes, where  whoever  is 
the skype name of someone you wanna add to the text 
chat.
