Although slightly off topic, this does relate to Skype as use on pc. I
recently experienced Sarah's problem with pc crash and although important
documents were backed up, I had to get assistance installing windows as
obviously visual task. I wondered whether anyone including yourself of course
Sarah knows of a suitable backup and restore package whereby I am able to keep
a complete backup of entire disk. I was once able to use Norton ghost 2003 as
this did the job even after booting in to ms dos and then back in to windows.
Nowadays, as this pc no longer supports ghost, all backup solutions have been
fine when backing up system as able to do this in the windows environment but
when I come to restore I am told by system it cannot do this in windows and
therefore required cd to boot in to the recovery environment of programme
concerned to finish restoring task, which is a problem to all of us who are
totally blind as Jaws does not opperate out side the windows environment. I
know slightly off topic but when this happens, it does affect the use of skype.
