Hi! The privacy option doesn't free you from getting "Add to Contacts" requests. When this option is set, the people who wants to contact you needs to get your aprooval to do so and when this option is not set, anyone can call you or send a chat to you. If this option could completely block other people's requests, no oone could send an "Add to Contacts" request and you'd need to personally find and add all of your contacts. The other question is simple but this is 3.8 explanation. When the request window appears, tab till you hear Options button, space it and find "View profile" option. When the profile box pops out, you can read it with Jaws cursor or virtualize it for easier reading.
