Hi!
Someone reported a bug with audio devices and he or she stated that prefered
audio devices for microphone and speakers always return to the windows
defaults.
I find the way to get around it and I believe it is not bug at all.
When you are in Tools-Options-Audio devices window first thing you need to
do is tabing to Advanced options button.
When you press it, you can choose prefered devices from the Advanced dialog.
You need to select the device for microphone and tab to the button next to
device combo box that says "Move up" and you need to do the same thing with
the speakers prefered device. I tested it, shut down Skype and loaded it
again and there were my preferd devices as I set them.
Seems like Skype developers put some kind of list so you can set your
devices as you want them to be. Maybe this thing has to do something with
the lots of USB headsets taking over the control of the system and other
sounds and audio events.
