[Skypeenglish] questions about new version of skype

Hello listers:
I have instaled new version of skype and have seveeral questions:
1. how do I find out who sent me a chat message and reply to it
2. where is the history of calls and chat messages
3. why does the menu to go to  file accessed by alt not working
4. in order to these things work properly do I need to instal skype scripts for 
jaws?
5. if so where do I get them from and how do I compile and install them?
