Hi! As far as I know, when you're receiving a file through Skype using Skype 4, the time remaining for the transfer is the only information available . It's the only info JAWS sees anyway. I don't think it makes any difference whether you use a braille display or speech. The only time I've received a file since having Skype 4, I did so with 4.1 Beta if I remember rightly, and I was using both speech and braille at the time: I definitely remember only seeing the remaining time in the file transfer window. I imagine this would be the same in Skype 4.1 Gold, but correct me if I'm wrong, because I haven't done any file transfers with Skype since I upgraded to 4.1 Gold. I use JAWS 6.20 and a PAC Mate braille display.
