hello! as i understand, you need some settings for making skype 3.8 more accessible. 1: at the beginning set the beginning book to not start when skype launches 2: click view and set the tabs and panels options hide the live tab, skype find tab, address bar, and call phone tab. 3: click tools>options in tree view: in general settings, set the skype for don't launch at windows start up and click ringtones and check all of them if they are checked or not checked click notification settings and check them if they are checked or not checked, choose the options that you want skype to notify to you about events. click instant messaging options and check the options that you want to use. click instant messaging view and choose the options that you want to use. click the keyboard shortcuts and activate the keystrokes that you want to use. end of settings, click save to save the changes that you did. 4: click view and accessibility check the accessibility settings and make sure both of options are checked. if they didn't checked, make checked them manually. these are basic steps to make skype 3.8 more accessible and simple to use. hope these steps are helpfull. if not: feel free to contact! best regards Thanks for posting to the skype english list.
