Hi Freek and all
To solve your problem about audio settings go in the audio settings menu and
choose show advanced options. You will find a list box in which you'll see a
list of all your devices. Choose with the arrow keys the one you want then
tab and press move up; you can do it for the microphone and the speakers.
Choose save button and it's done.

Subject: [Skypeenglish] Audiosettings aren't saved in 4.1

> Hi,
> I don't know if this is only a Skype-related issue, but with tools en
> settings and then arrow down to audiosettings, I need to use two different
> soundcards for my Skype in and my Skype out-channels.
> That's because I use a mixing board and make internetradio.
> Since I've upgraded to 4.1, I went to the audiosettings and assigned
> different soundcards to the mic and the speakers (skype-out) and
> afterwards I hit the "save" button.
> So, those settings should remain in Skype for when I use it the next time.
> But i.e. aftr rebboting or restarting my computer those changes I had made
> were not saved, so it appears, because the Skype-out channel is back on
> the same soundcard as the mic, so my changes weren't saved...
> Any advice on that?
> I use XP Home, Jaws 9 and the latest Skype.
> Thank you.
