Hi all, I have a pair of headphones I would like to attach to my computer, but I'm a little confused as to how this works. The Plantronics Audio 355 headphones have 2 1/8 plugs. I imagine 1 is for the mic and the other for the actual headphone part of this headset. if I plug in the mic I believe I'll be alright as my audigy sound card has a slot specifically for a mic, but if I plug the other 1/8 plug into the speaker jack, won't this route all audio into my headphones? I want to use these headphones for Skype and would like to also have external speaker sound. In other words, I would like my computer sound coming out of the speakers as well as leaving my headphones permanently plugged into my computer. What can I do to make this happen without disabling audio coming out of my speakers? Is there another solution I've not thought about? Seems like a total hassle to have to reach to the back of my computer every time I want to make or receive a Skype phone call.
