As we all know SAPI5 is not the most stable so if you were doing a memory intensive project, and SKRead had something to say, quite often you would see your system starter or pause while attempting to process the new speech data. You do not have this problem with SkypeWatch. Also SKRead needed a user interface having to edit an INI file or read lots of documentation is about the same as using SkypeWatch. I wrote to Sean suggesting that he used NSAPI for or better yet using the window-eyes and Jaws API. his plug-in for mirc does in fact do this. To make a long story short, there are advantages and disadvantages to both programs. I prefer SkypeWatch.
