You do not have to do System restore. Just do what the dialog says: which is rearstt JAWS. If you have your hotkey's up: altogether ctrl j then re load Jaws. That should fix the problem.

Having a bit of a problem here. Something happened to my system
a few hours ago, which caused me to have to perform a system restore. Now, whenever I launch and log onto skype, I get a beeping sound and the following message.

Problem:  JAWS and/or Skype Restart Required

Skype is unaware that a screen reader is running and is not
providing accessibility information,
and all attempts to fix this without reloading JAWS or Skype have
failed.
JAWS and/or Skype must be restarted to fix this problem.
Until the below directions are followed, many things will not
work correctly in Skype with JAWS.

Please close all screen readers, then restart JAWS and see if
this corrects the problem.
If you have already done this but the problem remains, close and
restart Skype.  This should not usually be necessary.

I'm using the latest versions of jaws 11, skype 4.1 and the skype
scripts on windows vista home premium service pack 2 with all updates applied, and I have tried doing a system restore back to a time when it wasn't happening, and i've even tried completely removing and reinstalling skype, as well as the steps outlined on Dug's website, but no go. I'm really hoping someone can help with this one.
