Hi!
Alt+f4 has never closed Skype completely, Chris, it has always just
minimised it to the sysqtem tray. I don't yet use Skype 4.2, but I know that
alt+f4 has simply just minimised the Skype window to the system tray in
every other version of Skype that I have used.
If you want to close Skype down completely, you either have to use "quit" in
the system tray, or, if you are using the JAWS scripts, press alt+shift+f4
twice very quickly while in the Skype window.
