hi, I think it would be better to do it like this. leave the toggle alone.
but if you click it twice quickly a list could be brought up to allow you to
select the status you want to use. your idea in my view would use up a lot
of keyboard space. another idea would be to allow the user to have control
over what keys are used. also the ability to have keys local to Skype while
the Skype window is in focus or to have them work across the board.

First of all, I'd like to express my gratitude for such a great piece of
software, which certainly makes our work on Skype easier. However, having
tested a new version of Skypetalking, I've noticed some small drawbacks,
which, if fixed, would make this program even more convenient for
screenreader users.
The main point here is about quick status changing, I've really
appreciated the feature, and moreover, I found out that although there is
no Skype me status in Skype 4.2, but you can easily switch it on using
Skyptalking, it was a pleasant surprise.
The only one thing which doesn't seem convenient to me is that you have to
click the same keystroke untill you reach the status you want. Wouldn't
it be easier to assign several keys like it's done in Miranda IM, so you
can press a separate combination for each status. For instance you can use
the backslash, equals and dash key for that, and some statuses may be
changed by pressing some of the keystrokes twice.
Another thing I'd like to mention is the question of emoticons, and
whether it's possible to make Skypetalking read them, it's not a necessary
enhancement, but it'd be neat.
And the third observation, Braille output still doesn't seem to work. If I
can be of any help in testing, I'm willing to do it, so feel free to
contact me.
