Hi all,
So it's taken some fiddling, but try the following in IE and see if
it works for you.
1. Hit insert f8 for the toolbar.
2. On the skype add-on for internet exploreer, route the jaws cursor
to the pc one and activate the left mouse button. This should open a
dialog (still with the jaws cursor) with some options that you can
read with the arrow keys. I don't recall if there's much to change
here but left click again on the ok button.
3. When you find a number you want to call on a webpage, run skype,
select the number with control shift and an arrow key and press enter.
4. A normal dialog (I.E. one the pc cursor can read) appears asking if
you want to complete the call. You can elect not to see this message
again by activating the necessary checkbox.
5. Whether or not you checked the "do not ask me again" checkbox, you
can activate the call with enter.
I still don't know how to complete this process with skype contacts,
where jaws says "begin_skype_highlighting" after someone's name whose
a skype contact of mine, so if anyone else does I'd love to know. But
I hope the above instructions prove useful.
