no it is better for you to turn offf the messages in the jaws skype scripts.
remember jaws gets this information from the UI while skype talking gets it
directly from the skype API so it is better to use the API then the UI when
ever possible.

I think you're encountering this situation because both SkypeTalking and
JAWS scripts for Skype are revealing the message. Better that you uncheck
the revealing of sent messages under SkypeTalking options.
