HI,
I use a desk top microphone but then all of the skype conversations I
have are from home. I can agree with Doug's comments concerning using
a headset for those times when you are away from home and if I
purchase an android or IPhone when my phone contract runs out, I may
do the same.
For me, a good microphone on a stand gives me the best sound and
Larry and I use them while recording our internet old time radio show
with skype each week.
As is the case with most things, its all user preference.
By the way, some of the JAWS users at my ofice have JAWS up pretty
loud in their headsets and I often wonder if guests hear JAWS in the
backround. As far as I know none have commented on it!

definitely see the advantages of desktop microphones and wireless headsets,
though.
Anyway, Yvonne, whatever advice we give you here, you have to make your own
decision in the end as to what will suit you best, as far as microphones are
concerned.

I dono which brand is good but even you can go for skype products itself. I
was told that its being a lil bit costlier. but worthy
I personally prefer blutooth headsets though. so that we can walk and talk.
