The only problem is, it still tends to freeze Skype when going into the
Skype contact manager, is there going to be a fix in this particular issue
or, should that be reported to Skype themselves where it is a Skype API
issue, I wish I can reproduce the actual message box that comes up when it
freezes the program and stops responding.
Any response would be grately appreciated,

I suggest that people using Skype 5.3, 5.2, or 5.1 upgrade to this
script version. Honestly, I also suggest that users of older Skype
versions upgrade to 5.3 and then also upgrade to this script version.
I believe the Skype and Skype script upgrades address a few security
and crash/lockup problems I've been seeing out there. As an example
of one lockup fixed: Under certain conditions, it was possible to
crash Skype in such a way as to also lock up JAWS by pressing Esc to
try to exit a Help/About dialog or its JAWS virtual view. This should
no longer be the case. (It should also no longer be necessary to
Alt+Tab twice after opening that box in order to read it.)
So to all mothers out there, happy Mothers Day even if you're not *my*
Mom. :-)
