Ok follow my directions precisely.
1. Log into skype with your credentials.
2. tab to where is says facebook friends link. press enter on that and
it should walk you through the rest of the set up process in getting
you connected to fb chat. Should you need more assistance, just ask!

Good luck with that, I still only see version 5.3 in the main skype
page, however I still believe 5.5 is still in beta, because I'm
testing it right now, and the facebook chat still doesn't work for
me, and I have onfirmed I did set up properly, however it says to
try to reconnect to facebook on my end, weird I do say so myself.
Still get that XMPP error. Ug!
