I'm sorry I was using NVDA and Skype Talking. I must warn you all that
skype talking doesn't read the chats so you have to scroll through the
message log or chat widgit to read the facebook chats. If anyone uses
JAWS please explain to this nice gentleman how this is accomplished
what I did was different and I already said how I did it it was a link
called facebook friends and NVDA saw it with no fuss.

Ok I lied I'm still up... anyway I shift tabbed until I got to
facebook tab then shift tabbed and found the part where it says
connect to facebook then I just put in my credentials and voila, I got
it!

Good luck with that, I still only see version 5.3 in the main skype
page,
however I still believe 5.5 is still in beta, because I'm testing it
