Yes, I was only asking because it sounds as if he is actually trying to use SkypeTalking, he may need to tell Skype to allow it to be used. Your idea sounds alright though too.

Now I use NVDA as my primary screenreader, so I only have SkypeTalking. To get back to this "screenreader not found" error, I was wondering, Morey, is your Skype set to start with Windows? If it is, Skype might start before JAWS, and then perhaps it might not spot the screenreader. If your Skype starts when your computer starts, I suggest you try changing this in the options, then start Skype manually after the computer has completely booted: my theory is that if Skype starts after JAWS does you should no longer get the "screenreader not found" error. Using Win/7 Home Premium and the newest bill of Jaws 13. After doing this I still get the error message about ehe screen reader cannot be found. I did as asked..meaning restarting Jaws and then Skype. Any thoughts as to why?? Only have the single version of Jaws on machine.
