Try doing all this but first temporarily disabling such things as antivirus, malware detector, and UAC. At the very least temporarily place Skype in the exclusions list of your security utilities. I would try the former first.

Now the problem... Skype does not start when the computer starts so I click on the Skype Icon and when Skype starts i get the error message about not finding a screen reader. This also happend when I had 5.5 version of Skype installed. I only have the one version of Jaws installed on this machine. I have removed everything a couple times with the same results, evenfolling the instructions when the error message comes, about restarting the screen reader. This sure is getting frustrated. Almost ready to go back to Jaws 11 and Skype 3.8. Any thoughts?? Sorry to carry on, but it gives you an idea of what I have went through to get things working. Thanks for any help.
