I'm not Doug but no you don't. For a brief while I had both Skype and
GWskype installed. I advise not to have them both running at the same
time though.

GW Skype is an actual Skype replacement application, not something to
run alongside Skype itself. It is natively accessible and supports
most every Skype function except video at this time. It natively works

It is free and does not in any way require Window-Eyes or any other GW
