Yes, GW reps stated on their webinar that GWSkype was going to be
regularly
updated for the foreseeable future. I will definitely seriously explore
this
tool once video capabilities are added. The demo demonstrated very quick
and
simple navigation using this tool. I have 0 doubt in my mind that had
Freedom Scientific developed this tool it would have been dangled over us
for $200 a license. They seem to think anything and everything is worth
charging for. That is, until everyone is broke and can't buy their
specialized software such as FSReader, at which point it is then given
away
as a great new feature on the next Jaws release which also has a price tag

for those of you using gw skype and if you have any ideas or things you
would like to see added to this program I think it would be a good idea
to
remember that you should send these idea not only to this list and to the
gw micro information list if you are on it but also send these ideas to
[email protected]. gw micro has a good track record of responding to
user feedback so rest assured that if you send them your ideas they will
be
herd and probably added at some point.
