I remember hearing, and I'm not sure how long the offer stands, that one
could get up to the latest version of WE for $450 if one had any other
version. I don't know when I switched to JFW, but the price isn't probably
that bad considering I probably last really used We at 3.0 or so.

Yes, GW reps stated on their webinar that GWSkype was going to be
regularly
updated for the foreseeable future. I will definitely seriously explore
this
tool once video capabilities are added. The demo demonstrated very quick
and
simple navigation using this tool. I have 0 doubt in my mind that had
Freedom Scientific developed this tool it would have been dangled over us
for $200 a license. They seem to think anything and everything is worth
charging for. That is, until everyone is broke and can't buy their
specialized software such as FSReader, at which point it is then given
away
as a great new feature on the next Jaws release which also has a price
tag
