If you use Skype you go to jail in Ethiopia It is incredible that in the XXI century still exist such restrictions. When all think that the concept of free speech had been well understood, it appears the government of Ethiopia and prohibits use VOIP services, among which included the popular Skype. If you are in Ethiopia and are using Skype and you can prove you've actually used, and whether it is in your smartphone or a desktop or a laptop, you can spend the next 15 years of your life in jail . While the law is active since last May 24, nobody in the international news had focused on it until recently.
The people of Ethiopia and all the surprise and such a law was something I saw coming.
