Go to option and the advanced tab. Uncheck the keep Skype in the taskbar
while I'm signed in.

Hello, please help me in recalling a thing which I read on here and I am
not sure how it was. A person just wrote in an italian mailing list.
Basically, she's using Windows seven, not sure if 32 or 64 bit, and she
finds that Skype continues to be in the taskbar when quitting it with
alt+f4. I knew that there were some options to change to fix it but I
don't remember how it was. Can some one help me recalling it? Thanks.
